5c Brick Red (27). Vertical strip of three, some faint toning, tied by three strikes of "New Orleans La. Oct. 27" (1858) circular datestamp, also by red "New York Paid 12 Nov. 2" 12c credit datestamp on blue folded cover to Nantes, France, appropriate transit datestamps front and back, Very Fine appearance, ex Hubbard, with 1967 R.P.S. certificate noting an ironed-out crease, which is not evident, Scott value as off-cover strip of three is $6,000.00
