Bennett, Darwin, 12.12.19", bottom corners of card repaired

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A REMARKABLE USE OF THE 1919 ROSS-SMITH VIGNETTE ON FLOWN FLIGHT COVER ORIGINATING FROM BAGHDAD, MESOPOTAMIA, WHILE ENROUTE TO ITS FINAL DESINTATION IN AUSTRALIA. VERY FEW EXAMPLES ARE KNOWN FROM BAGHDAD--THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST EYE-APPEALING WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED FROM THIS SCARCE FLIGHT.
