VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS ONE OF ONLY TWO UNUSED EXAMPLES OF THE DIE 87 2-CENT GREEN ON BLUE ISSUE -- BOTH CUT SQUARES. NO UNUSED ENTIRES ARE KNOWN. A GREAT RARITY OF POSTAL STATIONERY COLLECTING.

The 2018 UPSS catalogue reports no unused entires and two used entires. the Porter Venn census records two unused cut squares -- the example offered here and the example that is ex Floyd and "Saddleback" and was last offered in our 2013 sale of the "Scarsdale" Collection. There are also two used cut squares recorded.
