10c Brown, With Secret Mark (188). Original gum, barely hinged, deep rich color and proof-like impression, well-proportioned marginsEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1879 10-CENT AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE WITH SECRET MARK. VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN THIS QUALITY.
With 2005 and 2006 P.F. certificates (XF 90). By way of comparison, P.S.E. has graded only two hinged and two Mint N.H. higher (90J for hinged, 95 for NH)
