Vertical pair, large even margins all around, rich color and intermediate impression, each stamp cancelled by neat strike of red numeral "5" handstamp, bottom stamp with light natural diagonal pre-printing creaseEXTREMELY FINE GEM. Vertical pairs of the 5c 1847 Issue are less common than horizontal pairs. Combining that with large margins all around and red numeral cancels makes this a rare and very desirable pair.
