6c Ultramarine (115). Bright color, cancelled by neat strike of "Steamer Costa Rica P.M.S.S.Co." handstamp, some scissors-separated perfs, Very Fine strike, according to Michael Laurence's book, the Costa Rica carried mails between Yokohama and Shanghai in China, it is not known used on cover and this is the first we have encountered on a 6c 1869 Pictorial, which would have paid the interconsular rate, ex Eubanks, with 2009 P.F. certificate
