Sale 1255, Lot 647, 1c-2c 1869 Pictorial Issue (Scott 112-113)1c Buff (112). Tied to small piece by complete strike of blue Two-Cent Coin fancy cancel of Marshall, Mich., pulled perf at right, Very Fine strike and extremely rare on the 1869 Pictorial Issue, the postmaster at Marshall used a 2c coin which he inked and impressed on the stamp and cover, the 1861 2c was the first coin minted with the motto "In God We Trust", we have encountered a few examples of this cancel on 3c 1861 Issue stamps, but this is the only example we have seen on an 1869 Pictorial stamp, P.F. certificate nos. 206301 and 534657 (on a cover) no longer accompany
