24c Gray, F. Grill (99 var). Unusually choice centering with well-balanced margins, detailed impression, rich color, quartered cork cancel and also red London transit at leftEXTREMELY FINE. A STUNNING USED EXAMPLE OF THE 24-CENT 1868 F GRILL IN THE GRAY SHADE.
Ex Dr. Morris. With 1992 and 2003 P.F. certificates, the former stating Gray shade and the latter stating Gray Lilac. In our opinion this is the Gray shade and was no doubt submitted as the standard shade in error the second time.
