3c Dull Red, Ty. III (26). Rich color, bold strike of blue "Military Institute Franklin Co. Ky. Col. E.W. Morgan, Supt." fancy cancel depicting an eagle and draped shield, few short perfs at upper left, Very Fine strike of this unusual cancel, with 2020 P.F. certificate, accompanied by copy of a typed report from Stanley Ashbrook on the cancel, noting that the 1854 list of post offices includes Military Institute, Franklin Co. Ky.
