B Relief, huge margins to ample including part of adjoining stamp at left and right interpane margin with full centerline, neat strike of Belgian accountancy framed handstamp, light vertical crease at leftVERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN OUTSTANDING 5-CENT 1856 ISSUE STAMP WITH INTERPANE AND CENTERLINE MARGIN, AND BELGIAN ACCOUNTANCY HANDSTAMP.
The presence of the Belgian accountancy handstamp on this 5c 1856 stamp is very unusual. Only one cover is known to Belgium (offered in Sale 1242, lot 319)--it also bears this marking but not near the stamp.
