1c-$3.00 Columbian, "Specimen" Ovpt. Ty. F (230S-F to 243S-F). Complete set of the seven listed values, including 1c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 10c and $3.00, clear large 22mm "Specimen" overprints in fancy script, particularly bold on the top value $3.00 which also has a small magenta "c" at top, disturbed original gum, faults including nearly all with thins -- as if they were peeled from a sample book -- which they probably wereFINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE SET OF THE SEVEN COLUMBIAN STAMPS KNOWN WITH "SPECIMEN" OVERPRINT TYPE F. POSSIBLY UNIQUE.
