6c Purple, Columbian (235). Mint N.H. bottom imprint, plate no. 104 and letter "Z" block of eight, brilliant color on bright paper, very freshEXTREMELY FINE MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF EIGHT OF THE 6-CENT COLUMBIAN ISSUE.
This 6c plate block has beautiful rich color on bright white paper. It is one of the finest 6c Columbian plate blocks we have ever encountered. The unpunched perforations and white gum are characteristic of sheets that were printed by the American Bank Note Co. and finished (gummed and perforated) at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
