96c Rose, 1875 Issue (PR23). Original gum, lightly hinged, vibrant color and detailed impressionVERY FINE. THE 96-CENT 1875 CONTINENTAL NEWSPAPER ISSUE IS VERY RARE IN SOUND ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.
This is only the second PR23 with original gum we have offered in decades. The other was in our 2004 sale of the "Vineyard" collection. The stamp offered here was acquired in our 2016 sale of the Grant Inman collection.
