Vertical strip of three and horizontal pair on front and another horizontal strip of three on backflap, cancelled by quartered cork cancels, pair tied by clearly struck "Yokohama Japan Sep. 7" (1873) circular datestamp on cover to John Wilkinson, Belfast, Ireland, sender's directive "via San Francisco"--carried on PMSS China, departing Yokohama Sep. 7, 1873, arriving San Francisco Sep. 30--magenta "San Francisco Cal.
