1c Ultramarine (212). Horizontal strip of four and single, straight edge at left, tied by two light but readable strikes of "U.S. Postal Agency * Tientsin * 25 Nov. 88" double-oval datestamp on cover to Mrs. H. H. Fairchild, Morristown N.J., "U.S. Postal Agency * Shanghai * 7 Dec. 88" double-oval datestamp, magenta "San Francisco Paid All Jan. 5" datestamp and "Morristown N.J. Rec'd Jan. 12 9AM 1889" receiving datestamp on back, stamps have slight crease and faults in first and fourth positions, still a Fine cover, the U.S. Postal Agency Tientsin oval is very rare and this is probably the only cover extant with five 1c stamps, illustrated on cover of The China Clipper, May 2000
