EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFULLY CHOICE EXAMPLE OF THE 12-CENT 1857 REPRINT.

The narrow spaces between stamps on the 12c 1857 Reprint plate allowed almost no room for large 12-gauge perforations, and the Reprints were generally perforated into parts of the design. Only 489 of the 12c were sold.

With 2002 P.S.E. certificate. With 1977 and 2019 P.F. certificates (VF-XF 85). Scott values this issue in the grade of Fine.
