15c Orange, H. Grill, Double Grill (141 var). Well-centered, bright shade with lightly struck cork cancel, clear impressions of two distinct grills at topEXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 15-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE DOUBLE GRILL VARIETY.
This is one of only two examples contained in our computerized records--the other with Double Grill, One Split (and only Very Good centering).
