Westtown School, Westtown Pa., (2c) Gold (145L1). Affixed to top right corner of cover with 1c Blue, Type IV (9), recut once at bottom, 1c stamp tied by faint strike of Westchester Pa. circular datestamp, addressed locally, 1c stamp with faint edge toning not mentioned on certificate, still Very Fine and very scarce use of this local with the 1c 1851 Issue, these locals were never cancelled unless they happened to be placed within the strike radius for a cancel on a U.S. stamp, notation on back indicates this was sold in a 1925 Scott Stamp & Coin sale, with 1999 P.F. certificate
