Mar. 23" (1855) circular datestamps on gray folded cover to Frankfurt am Main, Germany, sender's directive "Prussian Closed Mail via London & Ostende", Boston and receiving transit datestamps, bold red "7" credit handstamp, red "FRANCO" straightline also ties 3c pair, carried on the Cunarder Africa, departing Boston March 28 and arriving Liverpool April 7, file fold not affecting stamps, left 12c with a faint pre-use vertical crease at left, last name of address expertly changed, otherwise Very Fine, with 2003 P.F. certificate
