Large margins to clear where visible, used with vertical strip of three and single of 3c Dull Red, Type III (26), old habits must die hard as perfs scissors-separated and either intact or trimmed, tied by large "Paid" grids, "Boston Br. Pkt. Aug. 12" (1857) circular datestamp on back of tissue cover to London, England and forwarded to Liverpool, red "Paid 24 AU 1857" transit datestamp also ties one 3c stamp, red "19" credit handstamp, carried on the Cunarder Europa, departing Boston Aug. 12 and arriving Liverpool Aug. 23, Great Britain 1856 1p Red (20) affixed over 12c and single 3c and tied by "43" numeral cancel to pay forwarding postage, blue oval "Forwarded by Geo. Peabody & Co. London" backstamp, fresh and Very Fine, an unusual franking combining the imperforate 12c and perforated 3c stamps, ex Stephen D. Brown, Piller and Giamporcaro ("Tito")
