Jul. 31" (1857) circular datestamp on cover to London, England, and forwarded to Matlock, England, red "3" credit handstamp, red "Paid 12 AU 1857" transit datestamp also ties pair, carried on the Collins Line Atlantic, departing Aug. 1 and arriving Liverpool Aug. 12, Great Britain 1856 1p Red, Plate 14 (20) affixed over pair and tied by "26" numeral cancel to pay forwarding postage, blue oval "Forwarded by Geo. Peabody & Co. London" backstamp, minor edgewear and slightly reduced at left, left stamp with small tear at top left, otherwise Very Fine and rare combination, ex Rose, with 1999 P.F. certificate
