Mar. 4, 1856" circular datestamp on buff cover to Switzerland, red "New-York Br. Pkt. Mar. 5" backstamp, carried on the Cunarder Asia from New York on that date, arriving Liverpool Mar. 18, large red "12" credit handstamp, red "AACHEN 19/3 FRANCO" framed transit datestamp (Mar. 19), blue manuscript rate ties 10c stripVERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL THREE-COLOR 1851-55 ISSUE FRANKING ON A COVER TO SWITZERLAND, PAYING THE 35-CENT RATE BY PRUSSIAN CLOSED MAIL.
