Paid 7 Aug. 9" (1856) 7c credit datestamp also ties stamps as does blue manuscript "X", carried on the Ocean Steam Navigation Company Washington, departing New York Aug. 9 and arriving at Southampton Aug. 23, stamps with indentations from cancel, otherwise Very Fine 30c rate to Austria
