Position 81L1E, double transfer, one inverted, this position shows a wide break in outer line at bottom (a rare Type IIIa with break at bottom instead of top), large margins to just in at bottom left, intense shade and choice impression shows the inverted transfer lines at left, striking pre-printing vertical paper fold opened up to show width, tied by blue "Troy N.Y. Nov. 6" circular datestamp on safe manufacturer's blue printed circular to Otsego Bank in Cooperstown N.Y., Very Fine, Position 81L1E is not only an inverted transfer position, but the Neinken book describes it as the "finest" example of Type IIIa on Plate 1 Early, extensive note by Dr. Chase on back, commenting on type, rare Dark Blue shade and paper fold, ex Wagshal
