Feb. 23" (1859) circular datestamp on back of blue folded cover to Halifax, Nova Scotia, ship-name directive "America" (an NGL line steamer), bold "5" pence due handstamp, receiving backstamp, few expertly repaired cover tears not mentioned on certificate, still fresh and Very Fine, a very late use, ex Caspary, Dr. Kapiloff and Mayer, signed Ashbrook, with 2006 P.F. certificate
