Large margins all around including part of adjoining stamp at top, used with 1c Blue, Type IV (9), large margins showing part of four adjoining stamps and 3c Brownish Carmine, Type I (11), large margins to just touched at bottom right and showing part of three adjoining stamps, tied by grid cancels, "Potsdam N.Y. Aug. 4" (1856) circular datestamp on cover to Bangor Me., cover with sealed tears and refolded so slightly reduced at sides, still Very Fine and unusual triple-rate use, this is the only reported use of the 5c 1856 Issue from Potsdam N.Y., ex Haas and Mayer (book, p. 35), with 2006 P.F. certificate
