Aug. 30" (1857) territorial postmark on cover to Concord N.H., back separated but complete, some minor edge mends, appears Very Fine, this was sent by a member of the troops who were dispatched to Salt Lake City by President Buchanan to put down a rumored Mormon insurrection in 1857, the Mormons destroyed Fort Bridger before the expedition arrived
