(1852) circular datestamp on folded printed market report (error date "1851", but correctly dated elsewhere in report) to Providence R.I., sender's ship-name directive "pr California", couple small stains at bottom, Very Fine, an extremely rare 1851 Issue franking for the 5c over-3,500 miles printed matter rate (effective July 1, 1851, to Sep. 30, 1852), this is one of only two recorded examples, ex Piller and Cipolla
