Deep rich color, mostly full margins, tiny nick at bottom right not mentioned on certificate, tied by grid cancel with bold strike of "CADDO, No. 2" large name-of-boat straightline handstamp on May 21, 1852 docketed folded cover to New Orleans, clear strike of red "New Orleans La. Jan. 25" circular datestamp and matching "WAY/1" handstamp for way fee as the cover was picked up en route, Extremely Fine strike of this Red River name-of-boat handstamp, illustrated in Milgram's Vessel-Named Markings book (p. 139), ex Simmons and Giamporcaro ("Tito"), with 1999 P.F. certificate
