2c Carmine, Ty. III, Coil (450). Joint line pair, vivid color, 1923 circular datestamp and grid duplex cancel, Fine, this is invariably found with perfs touching or cutting in at top (when it is found at all in used condition), this issue is overshadowed by its much more famous Type I counterpart, Scott 449, but it is actually as rare or more rare as a used joint line pair, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate, Scott Catalogue inexplicably reduced the price on this from $800.00 in 2019 to $300.00 in 2021
