Block of four with plate no. 108 and part imprint at bottom, original gum, h.r., beautiful shade with remarkably detailed impression, perf separations sensibly reinforced where selvage is partly separated, bottom left stamp with small thin spotVERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE BLOCK OF FOUR OF THE $5.00 COLUMBIAN ISSUE WITH PLATE NUMBER AND PART IMPRINT.
If the two stamps had not been removed at right, this would be a full plate block of six worth $200,000 or more. In any case, this plate number and part imprint block is rare and very exhibit-worthy.
