Sale 1234, Lot 239, 1893 Columbian Issue (Scott 230-245)1c Columbian (230). Top pane of 100 with imprint selvage at sides and two imprint, plate no. 67 and letter "P" blocks at top, original gum, about two-thirds of the stamps are Mint N.H., multiple h.r. on other stamps reinforcing some fairly significant perf separations including in the left plate block, which also has a defective stamp, the right plate block is intact with more minor separations in selvage and only one stamp hinged, two stamps near bottom of pane also defective from an adherence long ago removed, Fine-Very Fine appearance, a scarce full pane of 100 of the 1c Columbian Issue, all of the 1c Columbians (and some of the 2c) were printed from sheets of 200 subjects and cut into two panes of 100 along the horizontal guide arrow, these full panes were only available from the Philatelic Agency in Washington D.C., Scott value approximately $3,500.00 as two hinged plate blocks and singles
