II (10A), margins to in and tied together with local by "New York Sep. 19" (1851) circular datestamp (with four bars under month), both stamps used as forwarding postage on blue cover originating in England, sent to New York and forwarded to Hyde Park N.Y., originating postage paid by Great Britain, 1847, 1sh Pale Green, Embossed (5; SG 54), tied by "36" numeral grid cancel, appropriate transit markings

VERY FINE. AN ATTRACTIVE AND RARE USE OF THE BOYD'S LOCAL STAMP ON A FORWARDED COVER ORIGINATING IN ENGLAND.

This cover was mailed from London with the 1sh embossed stamp and carried on the Cunarder Europa, departing Liverpool Sep. 6, 1851, and arriving Boston Sep. 17. On arrival in New York City it was remailed to Hyde Park with 3c postage and the Boyd's stamp for delivery to the post office.
