May 18" (1857) circular datestamp on yellow cover to Matour, France, red "San Francisco 30 Paid May 20, 1859" integral-rate circular datestamp, red "New York Paid 24 Jun. 14" credit datestamp, red "PAID" handstamp, red "P.D." framed handstamp, French transit and arrival markings, some slight edgewear affects 1c stampsVERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE USE FROM YUBA (LONG BAR) CALIFORNIA TO FRANCE, WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO MARKING SHOWING THE 30-CENT RATE TO DESTINATION PAID.
