Sales 231-743 complete, 63 total volumes in matching black library binding with gold stamping and prices realized, this run was one of two bound by Siegel each year of the period, the first set remains in the Siegel library and this set was surplus disposed of some years ago to a collector, starting with Sale 744 (the Kapiloff 1851-57 Issues collection) the size of the catalogs increased and the house binding ceased, Very Fine and extremely rare complete run containing a great many iconic named sales as well as the first 28 Rarities sales, a complete run of unbound catalogs from Sales 744 to current are not included in this lot but are also available upon request
