3c Green, Double Paper, Imperforate, Massey Patent Hole Punch (158 var). Two blocks of four and a single, clearly showing the nine holes in a circle on each, bold manuscript "X" control cancels which have eroded the paper and caused splits in left pair of one block, otherwise Very Fine and scarce, the Gideon B. Massey Patent was for an experimental printing, with the thin surface layer taking the plate impression and then being laminated to a sheet of stamp paper, we have not encountered this in imperforate form before
