P5, two recorded) on May 23, 1845 folded letter to Boston street address, Very Fine, ex Jarrett, whose fastidious condition requirements were satisfied by this cover, which has one of the clearest strikes of this rare marking, Gutman records fewer than twelve examples of this handstamp and notes that most are "poorly struck", the marking was made by inserting type into a stock device used for various purposes
