P8) on greenish Apr. 5, 1845 folded letter from New York City to Boston, sender's instructions at top "Paid through Hale, drop in his Box, at Brokers Room in Exchange," Very Fine, only a few examples of the "P.P.P." marking are recorded by Gutman, and this cover with the reference to Hale's drop box location is noteworthy
