2c Green (3). Three full to large margins, separated irregularly at top where chunk is out, tied by blue "Petersburg Va. Aug. 21" (1864) circular datestamp on buff locally addressed drop cover, original letter enclosure is an adversity use on Farmer's Mutual Fire Insurance Co. policy, cover is also nearly a turned use -- addressed inside but not sent through the mails, stamp with small area of gum staining, Fine and scarce, with clear 1999 C.S.A. certificate, Scott value $3,500.00
