Horizontal pair, large margins to just in at bottom, slightly clipped top right corner but clear of design, rich color, tied by "New Orleans 12 Dec." (1861) circular datestamp on Levy & Dieter Commission Merchants corner card cover to Providence La., top of envelope restored where it was roughly opened but not affecting stamps, missing backflap, Very Fine appearance and a scarce corner card use of the New Orleans provisional, ex Felton, with 1996 C.S.A. certificate, Scott value $1,200.00
