5c Dark Brown (1a). Large margins to just touched including part of adjoining stamp at bottom, intense shade and early impression, cancelled by manuscript "X", matching "Troy & Rutland R.R. Aug. 20" route agent's manuscript postmark on buff envelope to Troy N.Y., Fine and unusual manuscript railroad postmark, according to the USPCS site, this railroad was made up of the Troy & Boston and Western Vermont Railroads, during the 1847 period the Troy & Boston route was under construction so this points to a very late use, with 2000 P.F. certificate
