(U10) to Arlington Heights O., tied by magenta targets with matching "Honolulu Hawaii Jan. 24, 1895" double-circle datestamp, appropriate registry markings, San Francisco registry backstamp, large "C.V. Sturdevant" backstamp, "Received in Bad Condition at San Francisco, Cal. E. Williams" three-line handstamp with "in Bad Condition" crossed out and replaced with manuscript "without contents", two stamps with minor gum soaked perfs at top, Very Fine and lovely registered cover with the altered San Francisco "Bad Condition" marking
