EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL SOUND ORIGINAL-GUM PAIR OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE IN THE DARK BROWN SHADE.

5c 1847 multiples with original gum are rare, especially in this choice condition and from an early state of the plate. This pair has a strong impression that shows the Dot in "S" and the "three dots" variety, neither of which are noted on certificate.
