3c Pigeon Blood Pink (64a). Bottom margin strip of three with part imprint, cancelled by bold strikes of blue "Cincinnati O. Oct. 17" double-circle datestamp, left stamp has vertical crease ending in tear in selvage, small interior tear affects two stamps, few sensibly reinforced perf separations and some slight oxidation in a couple placesVERY FINE APPEARANCE. A UNIQUE IMPRINT POSITION MULTIPLE OF THE 3-CENT PIGEON BLOOD PINK.
The Pigeon Blood Pink shade, named for the rare ruby, is regarded as the most distinctive and rarest of the Pink shades.
