OC 6 1858" circular datestamp (as well as two small manuscript lines) on folded cover to Montreal, matching manuscript "3" rate next to bisected stamp, red "Steamboat Letter Quebec OC 6, 1858" circular datestamp at left, Montreal arrival backstamp, couple of unobtrusive light bleach spots on coverVERY FINE. A HANDSOME AND EXTREMELY RARE BISECTED USE OF THE 6-PENCE SLATE VIOLET ON WOVE PAPER. A HIGHLY EXHIBITABLE COVER.
