Sep. 13, 1863(?)" circular datestamp on cover to Beloit Wis., endorsed "Via Overland" at lower left, lacking Hawaiian postmark but rate is correct for origination from Hawaii -- which Stanley B. Ashbrook believed to be the case (we concur), gently cleaned, Very Fine appearance, ex Newbury, Krug and Golden, illustrated and discussed in Ashbrook's survey of the Newbury collection (see U.S. Philatelic Miscellany) as well as the 1941 Stamp Specialist Blue Book
