Oct. 7" circular datestamp, Extremely Fine strike of this fancy cancel, especially desirable on piece with the Albany datestamp, the New York State Comptroller in 1866 was Thomas Hillhouse and the Albany postmaster in 1866 was George Dawson, both were ardent pro-Union Republicans, with 2014 P.F. certificate
