3c Rose, Ty. I (25). Horizontal pair, used with 3c Dull Red, Ty. II (11A) and 1c Blue, Ty. V (24), tied by "San Francisco Cal. Nov. 21, 1859" circular datestamp with "OVERLAND MAIL,/VIA: 'LOS ANGELES.'" oddly punctuated two-line imprint on plain envelope to Danielsonville Conn., slightly reduced at left and gently cleaned, Fine, a most unusual mixed-issue combination on a very rare Overland Mail imprint envelope (this is the only example in our Levi records), ex Jarrett
