Dec. 15" postmark on border embossed lady's small cover to Amherst N.H., Very Fine and scarce, stagecoach operators with mail contracts picked up mail along their routes and deposited it at the next scheduled stop with a post office, these stagecoach "Way" markings are much scarcer than those applied on steamboats, the Sutton N.H. markings are Rarity 10 in the Simpson book, with 1988 P.F. certificate calling the stamp Dull Red
