Ample to full margins, light crease from file fold, tied by "WAY" straightline on blue folded cover to New Orleans, red "From Steamer Sydonia" oval handstamp, red "New Orleans Nov. 23" circular datestamp, the letter which no longer accompanies was datelined at Alexandria in 1853, also docketing confirming the yeardate, Very Fine, the Sydonia plied the Mississippi and Red Rivers
